Devon Churches invited to spruce up their website

CHURCHES in Devon are being urged to make sure their websites are up to date and inviting, or otherwise they could turn off new visitors.

With around 80% of new visitors to a church going onto their website first before coming in person, there’s never been a more crucial time to focus efforts on the online space.

To help with this, Devon churches are invited to a free churches together workshop on Monday 23rd June, 7.15pm at Mutley Baptist Church, Plymouth.

Tim Searle from Mutley Baptist Church will be speaking about the variety of packages and build options available for church websites with practical tips, helpful design advice and lots to think about as we develop our websites for our current and new church family members.

‘We live in a connected world, and there’s never been a more important time for us to focus as churches on building our websites. If you’re looking for your site to stand out or are completely lost on where to go from here, come along to the workshop for some great advice’, said Jason Ham who previously ran a Social Media for Churches event.

It’s free and also churches are welcome to bring laptops/tablets and come with questions for hands on and practical advice in building websites.

Churches can book their place by emailing: [email protected]
