Trust and Obey to Change the World? (@KatieHarrisonTF)
Posted on December 23, 2013 | No CommentsLet’s be honest, sometimes changing the world is just a bit boring. Have you ever done that ‘take all of me Lord’ prayer, passionately offering all you have and are to be used in serving God and seeing his kingdom […] -
Waltzing Warrior King Hits Back at Wife’s Jeers (@KatieHarrisonTF)
Posted on October 23, 2013 | No CommentsNote: I’ve been reading ‘Romps, Tots and Boffins’ by @robdothutton which probably explains why this post contains a bit of #journalese. I loved this film of @revkatebottley at a wedding. Lots of other people loved it too, including the happy […] -
Fresh Interpretations of Eternal Truths? with @KatieHarrisonTF
Posted on September 22, 2013 | No CommentsI nearly got my eye taken out by a random flag in the summer of 2012. It wasn’t anything to do with the Jubilee or the Olympics. I was at a Christian festival where I’d been a seminar speaker at […] -
When there’s nothing left… (@KatieHarrisonTF)
Posted on July 23, 2013 | No CommentsOne of the most important moments in my life didn’t actually feel very exciting at the time. I was sitting in a boring training room in Sheffield, where I was holding a meet-and-greet between journalists and a Liberian family who […] -
Friends in unlikely places (@katieharrisonTF)
Posted on June 23, 2013 | 1 CommentIn the last couple of months, I’ve had drinks with an old friend from school that I hadn’t seen for twenty years (yep, I know that means you can figure out how old I am) and lunch with someone I […] -

“I’m not very good with numbers.” (@katieharrisonTF)
Posted on April 23, 2013 | 1 CommentI’m not very good with numbers. I can manage, but it’s not my favourite thing. Although I must confess that playing games from observing number plates was my preferred way to spend the time on long childhood car journeys. There […] -
An Exodus from Syria (@KatieHarrisonTF)
Posted on February 23, 2013 | No CommentsI’m just back from the Syrian border where I travelled with Tearfund to meet refugees who are fleeing the bombs, rockets and shootings that are now commonplace in Syrian towns. In Lebanon, I met men, women and children who had […] -
Times of plenty for some, times of lean for many @KatieHarrisonTF #IF
Posted on January 23, 2013 | 2 CommentsIt’s a busy day for many of us today. We’re part of a group of more than 100 organisations launching the Enough Food For Everyone IF campaign, to call on Prime Minister David Cameron to use the UK’s leadership of […] -
#BigRead12 Mark 2 @KatieHarrisonTF
Posted on March 2, 2012 | 3 CommentsI heard from one of Tearfund’s field managers that we had a complaint from someone in a village in one of the world’s poorest countries. I’d tell you where it is, but it’s a place where it’s very difficult to […]
